EPF – Endoscopic Plantar Fasciotomy
An endoscopic plantar fasciotomy is a surgical release of the plantar fascia and is used for the treatment of plantar fasciitis and heel spur syndrome.
It is performed through an incision that's ¼ inch. The patient is able to walk the same day and dramatic improvement is usually seen within two to four weeks.
Fluoroscopy
For real-time, dynamic views of the bones and joints. Similar to an x-ray but with very low radiation, the image is viewed on a video screen during the examination. An invaluable aid for visualizing osseous deformities from any angle.
Laser Treatment
Our group employs lasers for treatment of nail fungus. This is a painless process and can be performed in the office. When done in conjunction with anti-fungal medication, excellent results are usually seen within six months. Another type of laser (known as "pulsed-dye") is used for the specific treatment of plantar warts (verruca) and similar skin lesions.
